Intro
A “task” is normally a scheduled or unscheduled action item other than an event that has been or is to be completed (e.g., discovery). It normally does not have a firm starting time, but may have a firm ending time (i.e., deadline).
Persons involved
The task normally involves one person or a team of people from SRL (e.g., preparation of a motion).
Whether included in flat fee
The task is included in a flat fee if:
It says that on the Terms form (e.g., motion to suppress); or
The task is necessary to complete as part of the preparation for an event or other activity that SRL has been hired to help with (e.g., motion for jury instructions related to trial), whether or not the task is on the Terms form.
